Is Healthy Eating Possible in DeKalb County?: An Assessment of Food Availability, Access and Cost in Two Neighborhoods
An assessment of two Dekalb county, Georgia, neighborhoods in which key questions regarding food access, food security and food quality were asked and qualitatively answered. The key question was how available, accessible, and affordable a healthy, low-cost diet in Dekalb County is. Supplemental questions included how well food stores are distributed and whether or not food at stores were affordable and of high quality.
